In this research topic ,sensor networks support the collection and transmission of large volume of data from different deployed environments. Source nodes send captured data to the base station (BS) through intermediate nodes. Data integrity is an important security challenge in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). One of the main requirements in WSN is the integrity of the received data at BS. We explore the problem of efficient and secure transmission of watermarked data in both one-to-one and aggregation streaming sensor environments. We also detect the malicious modifications in the original data.This study develops an approach to maintain the data integrity in WSN by using the encryption the concept of watermarking. The research topic work applied the ECC (Elliptical Curve Cryptography) and Huffman mechanism on data collected from sensors. The objective behind applying the ECC is to encrypt the gathered data in an effective manner and Huffman is applied to compress the data. The data compression leads to the reduction in memory consumption as well as transmission time can also be reduced in this manner.
