Easy GUI-Controlled 5-DOF Robotic Arm with Gripper in MATLAB 🤖
Learn how to control a 5-DOF robotic arm with a user-friendly GUI in MATLAB. Perfect for pick-and-place tasks, this project showcases practical robotics automation funded by ICT.
About this video
I had made 5-DOF robotic arm with a gripper end of arm tooling for pick and place purpose. This project is funded by ICT. The Robotic Arm is controlled with the help graphical user interface through Matlab. The GUI consist of different buttons i.e Base, shoulder, elbow, wrist and gripper movement. By pressing each button which sends the command to Arduino board through serial communication and Microcontroller perform the desired Motor to operate accordingly. I used Servo motors which are controlled by Arduino board. The whole body of the arm is made up of an acrylic plastic sheet and mechanical design is created using the help of Autocad 2007.
