JD McDonagh's Main Roster Debut on Raw

This is JD McDonagh’s main roster debut. In April 2023, JD was drafted from NXT to Raw. Three weeks later, he was in a battle royal, where he got eliminated by Dolph Ziggler. Then JD attacked him and they had a match two weeks later, which ended in a double count out. Two weeks later, Finn Balor was talking to him. The following weeks on Main Event, he lost to Apollo Crews. JD beat him in a rematch. He beat Akira Tozawa and lost to Crews again. At Summerslam, he got eliminated by Omos in a battle royal. On Raw, JD was talking to Finn. Damian Priest started arguing with Finn and JD told them to get rid of the briefcase because it’s coming between them. Then JD attacked Sami Zayn. A week later, Judgment Day came out without Finn. JD came out and delivered a message from Finn, which said that he took out Sami and they should focus on Seth and Cody, before Rhea told him they don’t take orders from him. Then Sami attacked him, he fought back and they had a match. Sami took out Finn and he won with the Helluva Kick. Later that night, JD saved Priest from Sami’s attack. Next week, Rhea excluded him from a Judgment Day discussion. A week later, JD caught Sami and Priest beat him in a match. JD was celebrating with him, who then pushed him.
