Ducks’ Comeback Victory: Rucchin Scores Twice to Force Game 7 in 2003 Stanley Cup Final 🏒

Steve Rucchin scores twice as the Mighty Ducks force a deciding Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Final with a 5-2 victory over the Devils.

Paul Kariya and Petr Sykora each add a goal and two assists for the Ducks, and Jean-Sebastien Giguere stops 26 New Jersey shots to get the win in net. Steve Thomas and Grant Marshall score power-play goals for the Devils, while Martin Brodeur starts in the New Jersey crease and is replaced by Corey Schwab in the third period.

Game originally played on June 7, 2003 and broadcast nationally on ABC, featuring commentary by Gary Thorne, Bill Clement and John Davidson. Intermissions have been removed.
