Driving from El Biar to Bir Mourad Rais 🚗

Join me as I drive from El Biar to Bir Mourad Rais via La Colonne Voirol. In this video, I'll be driving down a road that goes back to the Ottoman period (between the 16th and the 19th centuries) for even in pre-colonial times (prior to 1830), there were many houses and residences of the rich on that road. My trip ends in a neighborhood whose very name is reminiscent of that period as, in fact, Bir Mourad Rais literally means "Captain Mourad's Water Well."
