Donald Trump, US President-elect, announced that Tesla chief Elon Musk and Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will head the newly-formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Vivek Ramaswamy is an entrepreneur, author, and former Republican presidential candidate. Ramaswamy is the first Indian-American to join Trump’s administration, starting January 20 2025.
