Neal Schon has a knack for combining his incredible technical agility with beautiful catchy sing-song lines.

And just because it's melodic, doesn't mean it's easy (for the rest of us, at least). There's a unique angular & ear-tickling vibe to Neal's work, which is probably a reflection of his technical facility being so ahead of his ear that he can play awkward or unlikely combinations of notes with ease.

His tone too - always on point. Rich like a big slice of chocolate cake, but still with plenty of bite and clarity.
