But it's not just me, there are a lot of people who hate Toronto and say that Toronto sucks, Toronto is unaffordable, dangerous, expensive, overrated and even broken.

And there are valid reasons to hate Toronto. It is not the best city of Canada. Although it is considered as one of the best cities for immigrants but it is far from being an ideal place to live. Many new immigrants moving from India as students or Canadian PRs or workers already know this but they still choose to live in Toronto.

Toronto is the next New York in terms of crime, danger, violence and what not. Homeless people in Toronto downtown are growing at a fast rate and these people have nowhere to go, no help from the government. Drug crimes in Toronto are rising exponentially so who is to blame? These are some of the problems in Toronto. From rental crisis to high cost of living, Toronto is not a desirable city for new immigrants anymore.
