Diver Reports Surge in Grey Nurse Shark Population Off Illawarra Coastline

Recreational divers have reported an increase in the number of grey nurse sharks off the New South Wales Illawarra coastline. The species is listed as critically endangered along the east coast of Australia with only a few thousand estimated to be left in the wild.
