From Shinkiari to KKH climbs through pine plantation into a picturesque bowl called Chattar plain (named for Chattar Singh another Sikh general).<br />It is located 1 and half hour from Mansehra, is a classic trecking area. The people may be a bit conservative but are fantastic when it comes to 'mehman' [guests].
