Discover the Sacred Significance of Chhath Puja 🌅

The word Chhath comes from the Sanskrit word Shashthi, meaning “sixth.” It falls on the sixth day of the Kartik month six days after Diwali.

On this day, millions across Bharat gather by rivers and water bodies to worship Surya Dev and Chhathi Maiya, the sixth form of nature the divine nurturer of life, fertility, and wellness.

Unlike most festivals, Chhath Puja has no idol worship it honors the Sun and the elements directly symbolizing purity, discipline, and gratitude to nature.

As the Sun rises and sets, devotees offer arghya (water oblation) in deep silence and prayer, seeking light, strength, and protection for their families.
It’s a festival that connects hearts beyond regions from Bihar to Bengal, from Jharkhand to Nepal uniting Bharat in one collective faith.
