Dr. Muhammed Ali Bingol is a Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security and Program Leader for Computer Networks & Security at De Montfort University, UK. As an expert cryptographer and computer scientist, he specializes in the design and analysis of cryptographic protocols.

Dr. Bingol has held notable positions throughout his career, including working as a research engineer at the Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG) and as an XDSL engineer at American Online (AOL) in Waterford, Ireland in 2007. From 2008 to 2020, he served as Chief Researcher at TUBITAK BILGEM National Research Institute of Electronics & Cryptology. Additionally, he was a visiting lecturer in Cybersecurity Engineering at Istanbul City University from 2015 to 2019.
