Dirco Minister Lamola briefs media on return of SA men from Russia

International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola says the South African men allegedly lured to fight in the Russia-Ukraine war under false pretences are victims, and those who recruited them must face the law.
Lamola met with 11 of the 17 men who returned home in KwaZulu-Natal. The men say they are relieved to be back home.
Fifteen of the men are back home, while two remain critically injured in Russia. Lamola also confirmed that other South Africans have died in the war, but were not part of this group.
