Phantom of the Opera: Mirror Room Scene 🎭

After the masquerade scene, Raoul jumps down a trapdoor and ends up in a room full of mirrors. This is actually a reference to the original film where the Phantom uses a room full of mirrors as a room to torture his victims. Also, all of the principal actors and actresses sang on their own except for Minnie Driver, who is actually a skilled singer. Minnie had no experience in opera though, so her parts were dubbed over by Margaret Preece. Minnie did end up singing for the final film though. Andrew Lloyd Webber specifically wrote the song, Learn to be Lonely, for this film adaptation.
