With temperatures steadily falling, winter has arrived in Delhi-NCR, accompanied by the possibility of light rain, while pollution levels remain worrying with the average AQI recorded at 279. After cloud seeding failed to bring rain, people are now hoping for natural weather changes to provide relief. Meanwhile, Cyclone ‘Montha’—though weakened—has caused heavy rainfall, landslides, and power disruptions in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, with restoration work underway. Thus, while northern India grapples with cold and pollution, southern coastal regions are recovering from cyclone-triggered rains, showcasing two contrasting weather challenges across the country.

दिल्ली-एनसीआर में तापमान लगातार गिरने से सर्दी ने दस्तक दे दी है और हल्की बारिश की संभावना के बीच प्रदूषण की स्थिति चिंताजनक बनी हुई है, जहां औसत AQI 279 (खराब श्रेणी) दर्ज किया गया। क्लाउड सीडिंग से अपेक्षित परिणाम न मिलने के बाद लोगों को मौसम में स्वाभाविक बदलाव से राहत की उम्मीद है। वहीं, पूर्वी भारत में चक्रवाती तूफान ‘मोंथा’ कमजोर पड़ने के बावजूद ओडिशा और आंध्र प्रदेश में भारी बारिश, भूस्खलन और बिजली-सुविधा बाधित होने जैसी समस्याएँ सामने आईं, हालांकि राहत कार्य जारी हैं। उत्तर में ठंड और प्रदूषण तथा दक्षिण में तूफान के प्रभाव से हुई बारिश—देश दो विपरीत मौसमीय चुनौतियों का सामना कर रहा है।
