The last week of October has started in Delhi-NCR, but the real winter chill has not yet arrived. On the morning of October 24, there was light haze, but no dense fog was observed. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain stable until Chhath Puja (October 28). Day temperatures will be around 30-31°C, while night temperatures will stay between 17-18°C.

Light winds over the past 24 hours have slightly improved the air quality. AQI ranged between 217-280 in Dwarka and Lodhi Road, while areas like Chandni Chowk, Anand Vihar, and Dwarka recorded AQI 280-400. The weather department has confirmed that no rain or clouds are expected until October 28.

Pollution remains the major concern for Delhiites. The real winter chill is expected in the first or second week of November. For now, the weather will have light haze, mild sunlight, and cool temperatures.

दिल्ली-एनसीआर में अक्टूबर का आखिरी हफ्ता शुरू हो गया है, लेकिन अभी तक कड़ाके की सर्दी ने दस्तक नहीं दी है। 24 अक्टूबर की सुबह हल्की धुंध जरूर दिखी, लेकिन कोहरे का नामोनिशान नहीं था। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार छठ पूजा तक (28 अक्टूबर) दिल्ली-एनसीआर में तापमान स्थिर रहेगा। दिन में 30-31°C और रात में 17-18°C के बीच तापमान रहेगा।

हालांकि हवाओं की गति थोड़ी बढ़ी है, जिससे एयर क्वालिटी में हल्की सुधार देखने को मिली है। द्वारका और लोधी रोड में AQI 217-280, जबकि चांदनी चौक, आनंद विहार और द्वारका में AQI 280-400 के बीच दर्ज हुआ। मौसम विभाग ने साफ किया कि 28 अक्टूबर तक बारिश और बादल आने की संभावना नहीं है।

इस समय प्रदूषण दिल्लीवासियों के लिए सबसे बड़ी चिंता बना हुआ है। दिल्ली की असली ठंड नवंबर के पहले या दूसरे हफ्ते में दस्तक दे सकती है। अभी के लिए हल्की धुंध, मंद धूप और थोड़ी ठंड का माहौल रहेगा।
