DC's Disrespect Towards Aquaman Revealed 🌊

Aquaman, despite being a founding member of the Justice League and helping other major heroes in big events alongside Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter, seems to be the most neglected hero of the group. Constantly berated with fish jokes and made a mockery of in comedic shows, Aquaman, for the longest time, didn't gain the respect from general audiences he deserved. The DCEU, however, despite its lack of understanding of Batman and Superman under Zack Snyder, showcased Jason Momoa as Aquaman, who proved to be one of the standouts. The visuals and costume designs of Aquaman himself and Black Manta are some of the best the DCEU has offered. It would be wise not to continue with Jason Momoa as Aquaman in James Gunn's DCU, but instead give him the chance to play Lobo. Many adaptations neglect how powerful and significant Aquaman is, with the DCAMU and Injustice 2 lacking in certain areas.
