Sitting here 'indian' style <br />typing the outline to a quasi-important <br />term paper <br />that i just so happen to have written <br />and texting like us digital era children do <br />so very often indeed, <br />describing my hatred of the bullies <br />and immature butt-weasels <br />that plague and consume the hallways <br />and classrooms of everyday highschools, <br />i realized exactly why i'm going to teach <br />(not that i'll stop writing, ever) - <br />because someone needs to stop this nonsense <br />and since people seem to fail where ever they try <br />i figure i'll give it my best shot, <br />i can't fail, no. <br />i grew up knowing belittlement <br />so stopping it will be cake <br />on a platter <br />with a big thick knife <br />and a fork for every student <br />in the classroom that i will one day inherit, <br />as i begin my role as a leader of change <br />in a world so desperately in ignorant need for it.<br /><br />David Thomas<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/epiphinal-moments/
