Everything that has happened in Dark in chronological order. Dark on Netflix features time travel and multiple timelines between 1921 to 2052. We see different versions of the characters at different ages, and see them cross paths across the timeline as people travel back and forth through time around the town of Winden. This video covers the first half of the timeline for Netflix’s Dark covering the years from 1921 through 1987.

It can be difficult to know when things are occuring in Dark since the characters move through time. While you may know what year it is the chronology of events may not be in order. This video puts the scenes we have from Dark season 1 and season 2 in chronological order. With the timeline in mind the bigger story makes more sense.

In Dark season 1 we met most of the characters including Jonas Kahnwald, Ulrich Nielsen, Mikkel Nielsen, Claudia Tiedemann, Charlotte Doppler, Egon Tiedemann, and many more. In season 2 we learned about the group Sic Mundus Creatus Est, and their leader Adam. Adam is the oldest version of Jonas we have met and is at odds with the oldest version of Claudia we have met. We see them follow the pages of the triquetra leather notebook as they travel through time.
