The wheels of his rollerblades whirred against the smooth floor of the Suraméricana metro station.<br /><br />He pumped his legs, gaining speed for the daring trick he'd been dreaming of trying here.<br /><br />This spot, with its open space and perfect ramp, seemed made for it. With a determined glint in his eye, he aimed for the jump.<br /><br />But, alas, it wasn't quite meant to be. In a split second, his calculations went awry, and the ground rushed up to meet him a bit too soon.
