Two of Denmark's top ladies' singles badminton players competed in the semifinal of the Hylo Open. Mia Blichfeldt left the National Training Center in Denmark to join the Popov family in France as an independent. Despite struggling with injuries along with mental health challenges, Mia Blichfeldt still seems to be the strongest female singles player from Denmark. Line Christophersen is still part of the National Training Center in Brøndby.
