Build Custom NER with spaCy v3 🧠

In this Python Applied NLP Tutorial, You'll learn how to build your custom NER with spaCy v3. There are many tutorials focusing on Spacy V2 but this one specifically focuses on Spacy v3 that leverages Spacy CLI and DocBin for NER training.

NER stands for Named Entity Recognition an important task in NLP. For Custom NER, we need to label and annotate our text data. We're using a free open source tool called "NER Annotator for Spacy" a good alternative for Doccano and Prodigy.
