Machining bevel gears saves time and money. Our customer buys standard gears but then has to machine them so they are adapted for their particular equipment. They have been modifying them to their own specification – but this takes time and is costly, particularly when these gears are bought by the 100's.

Our new Mazak Quick Turn lathe enables us to create the gears from scratch, from the same high specification acetyl plastic; so the customer gets precision made, purpose-fit bevel gears for the same price as the unmodified gears.
