Join staff from BSCS Science Learning who will be unveiling a new re-designed version of the FieldScope platform for citizen and community science projects. FieldScope is not only a tool for projects to invite their participants to contribute data, but a platform for engaging and learning with data in maps, graphs, and tables. In this webinar we will introduce the updated and modernized platform that is available for groups to host their projects, as well as a set of open-source instructional materials for middle and high school science classrooms that engage students in inquiry of data generated from CCS projects.
This webinar is free and open to all. May be of particiular interest those managing projects that engage in Earth-based citizen and community science and networked field studies and educators interested in engaging learning in learning with data and making meaning of data.
