About this video
CryptXplorer is an AI/ML-based framework designed to detect, classify, and interpret cryptographic primitives and protocols within multi-architecture firmware binaries.
Developed for Smart India Hackathon 2025, this project addresses the growing challenge of analyzing firmware from diverse architectures (ARM, AVR, MIPS, RISC-V, etc.) — especially when source code or symbol information is unavailable.
Our Solution – CryptXplorer
CryptXplorer provides a portable and modular AI/ML-powered system capable of:
Detecting cryptographic primitives (AES, RSA, ECC, SHA, XOR, PRNG, etc.)
Identifying standard vs proprietary algorithms across multiple architectures
Recognizing cryptographic protocol structures (handshake, key exchange, signing)
Performing black-box firmware analysis using ML-based feature extraction and embeddings
Generating detailed analytical reports with precision and accuracy metrics
