The actual message is called plain text.
Plain text “P” is used as a symbol.
The modified message is called Cipher text.
The cipher Text “C” is used as a symbol.
Encryption: The process of converting plain text to cipher text is called encryption.
Decryption: The process of converting cipher text to plain text is called Decryption.
