Create Custom Mixed Encryption Alphabets with ACA Keying Schemes 🔐

For many classical ciphers (e.g. the monoalphabetic substitution cipher and the Vigenère cipher) you need a mixed alphabet. The american cryptogram assocication (ACA) names four keying schemes (K1, K2, K3, and K4) for deriving mixed alphabets based on keywords. In this video, we discuss all keying schemes and also create our own mixed alphabets using CrypTool 2.
