Covariant Return Type vs Normal Overriding in Java with Example | Pratiksha Jain

Normal Overriding - Override annotation:
The method signature must be the same (same name and parameters).
The return type must also match.

What is Covariant Return Type in Java?
When overriding a method you can use a derived class (subclass) as return type instead of what is the return type of parent class function.
