A couple bought a "mouldy" abandoned Italian villa for €200k - and are spending another €200k renovating it to its former glory.<br /><br />Roger, 49, and Mirella Bloomingdale, 54, had always wanted to move to Italy for a "easy" pace of life.<br /><br />They started looking for homes and stumbled across the three story villa in Cupra Marittima, Italy, two years ago and fell in love.<br /><br />After visiting the huge home - which comes with 2000m2 - they bought it for €200k.<br /><br />They now plan to transform it back to its former glory with a ground floor living space, five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a library.
