Contact Lens Stuck in Your Eye? 👁️

If you've ever worn contacts, you may have had the unfortunate experience of "losing" one in your eye. 😣 This can be a scary feeling if you think it's still in there but can't find it!

While the first thought may be that it has slipped behind you eye, the good news is, our eyes have a structure called the fornix which is like a barrier that wraps around the eye. This protects your eye and everything behind it (like your brain) from the outside elements including things like contact lenses.

The majority of the time the lens is stuck somewhere inside one of your lids OR you actually did get it out and didn't notice it. If you're having trouble finding a contact, give your eye doctor a call and they can take a look and make sure it's properly removed for you.
