Auto Industry Slowdown: VECV's Vinod Aggarwal & Nitin Gadkari Discuss Economic Impact 🚗

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari today acknowleged the slowdown in the auto industry and said he would urge Finance Minister (FM) Nirmala Sitharaman to reduce goods and services tax (GST) rates on automobiles. Speaking at the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers' (SIAM) fifty-ninth annual convention, the minister also reiterated that the government has no plans to ban petrol and diesel vehicles. Vinod Aggarwal, MD and CEO, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) shared his views and outlook.
