1. What is Security?
Security refers to protecting data, systems, and networks from unauthorized access, attacks, damage, or misuse.
The aim is to ensure that information remains Confidential, Accurate, and Available.

2. Goals of Security (CIA Triad)
🔸 1. Confidentiality
• Ensures information is accessible only to authorized users.
• Prevents data leakage.
Example: Encryption, passwords.
🔸 2. Integrity
• Ensures information is accurate, complete, and unmodified.
• Protects data from unauthorized changes.
Example: Hash functions, checksums, digital signatures.

• Ensures information and services are available whenever required.
