About this video
Every clown fish is born male. There is never a female baby. They live in social groups within a sea anemone and is ruled over by the dominant female who is the largest and the dominant male who is the second largest. The remaining are non functional males who are not sexually mature. These males will only become sexually mature when the dominant male dies or the dominant female dies. If the female dies, the dominant male will turn female, an irreversible change, and the dominant male position will go to the next largest male.
