You can now run multiple Claude sessions side by side, manage everything through a new sidebar, and work inside a fully customizable drag-and-drop layout. On top of that, we’ve got an integrated terminal, built-in file editing, HTML and PDF previews, and a significantly faster diff viewer.

But this isn’t just about UI upgrades. Claude is becoming far more agentic.

With new features like routines, you can set up workflows once and have them run automatically on a schedule, via API, or based on events, all running in the cloud without needing your machine online.

There’s also /ultraplan, which lets Claude generate full implementation plans that you can review, edit, and execute either on the web or directly in your terminal.

And things might be getting even bigger very soon. Reports suggest that Anthropic is preparing Claude Opus 4.7, potentially dropping as early as this week, along with a brand new AI-powered tool for building websites and presentations.

This is a huge moment for AI development tools, and it’s clear Claude is evolving into something much more than just a coding assistant.
