About this video
In October 2013 over 450 citizen scientists took part in the inaugural ACT Bioblitz. Molonglo Catchment Group organised surveys of the birds, insects, reptiles, mammals, fish and more, that are living in ACT's Black Mountain Reserve. Species sightings were recorded with smart devices and uploaded to the Atlas of Living Australia where they form part of Australia's online biodiversity database. We were there to capture the action.
