This chapter of Cinematic Reality continues my ongoing documentation of New York City through street photography and cinematic behind-the-scenes footage.

All of the photographs and footage in this film were captured throughout 2025. While much of my work this year lived within the ‘Summer in the City’ project, this film focuses on what unfolded outside of those months. It represents another year of walking, observing, and paying attention to the city as it shifts with time and season.

The film opens by returning to the streets. The mix of cultures, movement, and everyday street life that continues to draw me in. From there, it expands into other chapters that reflect the broader atmosphere of the city. The Thanksgiving Day Parade. The presence of AI, robotics, and technology in public spaces. Street preachers and expressions of faith. Shifts in architecture that quietly point to gentrification and the city’s constant state of change.

While the mood remains consistent with the first film, this chapter explores deeper undertones and questions that have become harder to ignore. It is not meant to provide answers, only observations. A record of what the city feels like right now, through my lens, at this moment in time.
