CIMA ( Canadian Independent Music Association ) hosted Cocktails with Canadians at Ca De Sole in Toluca Lake. The wrap party capped a 3-day business trip to Los Angeles with a dozen independent Canadian music companies. CIMA organized the business development sessions to introduce Canadian indie labels and managers to Hollywood-based TV music executives at various networks and studios. Arriving in LA at the end of television pilot season provided the group the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of various new shows.
