Many people think MIS is for people whose profiles are not strong enough. That is bullshit :)
MIS is a very different course and enables different career outcomes than computer science.
And I highly recommend going for it if
1️⃣ you don’t enjoy coding as much and want more people facing roles like consulting or management
2️⃣ you are okay with developer roles but not necessarily looking to get into MAANG companies
3️⃣ you don’t want to study data structure and algorithms again
4️⃣ you want MBAish kind of experience (doing hands on team projects, presentations etc instead of theory) but don’t want to do a formal MBA (too expensive, profile not as competitive etc)
There are some great MIS and MEM options in USA 🇺🇸
