India to Send Dornier to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

As per the latest news on Mirror Now, India is looking to transfer a Dornier reconnaissance aircraft to the Sri Lankan armed forces. This comes, in the wake of Colombo asking the Chinese spy vessel Yung Wang 5 not to enter Hambantota on August 11 India is looking to transfer a Dornier reconnaissance aircraft to the Sri Lankan armed forces. Discussions between the two countries regarding the transfer of the Dornier are going on and the Sri Lankans could take delivery of the Dornier by the middle of this month. The Dornier-228 is widely used by the Indian Navy for electronic warfare missions, maritime surveillance, disaster relief and other work. Largely indigenously manufactured, this workhorse of the Navy can be used by Sri Lanka, an island, for maritime surveillance and other purposes.
