He's been plying his trade for the ever-efficient Live at Robert Johnson label for a bit - making appearances on both compilations to date - but The Video Dead charts as his first solo flight on the imprint. And oof, is it a huggable affair. Fuelled by an infatuation with the VHS-style, visual aesthetics of the 1980s and old-school synths, its a project consistently enveloped in humid tones.
