पिंपरी चिंचवड शहराच्या शिरपेचात आणखी एक मानाचा आणि ऐतिहासिक तुरा रोवला जातोय. शहरात छत्रपती संभाजी महाराजांचा जगातील सर्वात उंच पुतळा उभरण्याचं काम युद्धपातळीवर सुरुये. भाजपचे आमदार महेश लांडगे यांच्या संकल्पनेतून ही शंभुसृष्टी साकारली जात आहे. साडे एकर परिसरातील या शंभुसृष्टीत ब्रॉंज धातूचा 100 फुटी पुतळा, 40 फूट उंच चौथरा, सरसेनापती हंबीरराव मोहितेंचा शिल्प, 16 सेनापती-मावळ्यांचे पुतळे आणि महाराजांचा इतिहासावर प्रकाश टाकला जाणार आहे. यासाठी महापालिकेकडून तब्बल 48 कोटींचा खर्च केला जाणार आहे. अद्याप आणखी काम शिल्लक आहे. मात्र अनेक शिव आणि शंभू भक्त एकत्रित येत छत्रपती संभाजी महाराजांना ऐतिहासिक मानवंदना देणार आहेत. उद्या रविवारी दुपारी तीन वाजता 3000 ढोल, 1500 ताशे आणि 500 ध्वज असं एकत्रित वादन केलं जाणार आहे. या निमित्ताने जगातील सर्वात उंच पुतळ्याचा आढावा घेतलाय नाजिम मुल्ला यांनी.
