Rain and Thunder 🌧️ by Chessica Mace

The sky suddenly bursts open, emitting tears of joy. <br />The lightning sends its fiery darts, the thunder is its toy. <br />It seems to shake, the very earth, as if it were in pain. <br />Can it be so wonderfully dramatic? It is only rain. <br /> <br />Tiny drops of water fall to the wanting earth below. <br />Some will shower the creek banks and into the rivers flow. <br />The mist shall tempt the trees, their life’s requirement. <br />The clouds will then break free once their time is spent. <br /> <br />So once it’s all replenished and the sun begins to glow. <br />The morning sky just might be blessed with a magnificent rainbow. <br />The beauty of the earth would never be the same, <br />Without the tender, loving care of the ever-frequent rain.<br /><br />Chessica Mace<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/rain-30/
