Charlie Kirk, the CEO and co-founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, was shot at Utah Valley University.

The university informed students in a report, stating, "A single shot was fired on campus toward a visiting speaker."

Authorities have confirmed that the suspect has been taken into custody.
