Chaiti Chhath 2022: Complete Story & Significance of the Festival 🌅

The festival of Chaiti Chhath has its own speciality. This great festival is going to start from 5th April. This festival is celebrated with great pomp in states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh of India. This festival is so famous that it is celebrated in India as well as abroad. Chhath Puja is mainly a festival of worship of Lord Surya, the visible god. There are two Chhath festivals in a year. In which the first one comes in the month of Chaitra which is also known as Chaiti Chhath, then the second comes in the month of Kartik. According to mythological beliefs, Chhath is the sister of Suryadev. The ritual of Chaiti Chhath, a great festival of folk faith, is for four days. The tradition of observing Chhath fast is going on since the Rigvedic period. <br /> <br />चैती छठ के त्योहार की अपनी विशेषता है. इस महापर्व का आगाज 5 अप्रैल से होने जा रहा है. यह पर्व भारत के बिहार, झारखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश जैसे राज्यों मे बड़े ही धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है. यह त्योहार इतना प्रसिद्ध है कि इसे भारत के साथ साथ विदेशों में भी मनाया जाता है.छठ पूजा मुख्य रूप से प्रत्यक्ष देव भगवान सूर्य की उपासना का पर्व है. साल में दो छठ महापर्व होते हैं. जिसमें पहला चैत्र मास में जिसे चैती छठ के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, तो दूसरा कार्तिक मास में आता है. पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार छठ सूर्यदेव की बहन हैं. लोक आस्था के महापर्व चैती छठ का अनुष्ठान चार दिवसीय होता है. छठ व्रत करने की परंपरा ऋग्वैदिक काल से ही चली आ रही है. <br /> <br />#ChaitiChhath2022 #ChaitiChhathVratKatha
