Evofish review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Evofish on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U developed and published by Moving Player.
Spore meets the MECC classic Odell Lakeโor at least, thatโs how we see itโin this simple eShop action game. Evofish puts the awesome power of evolution in the palm of your hands. You start by controlling a little glob of life, eating what few things are actually smaller than you, until you evolve. Step by step, you become bigger and stronger, but survival never gets any easier. Evofish is a top-down game about eating smaller creatures and avoiding larger ones. Weird genre, right? It controls similarly to a top-down shooter, only without spaceships and lasers. Instead, it has tadpoles and parameciums. The game offers two single-player modes and multiplayer options for up to five players, including asymmetrical gameplay similar to the minigames in Nintendo Land.
This video review features video gameplay footage of Evofish on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
