Celebrating Lucky Dube’s 60th Birthday: The Extended Version of 'No Truth in The World' 🎶

HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY LUCKY!
Just know that wherever your spirit roams in space and time, you always have a dwelling place and a huge family to linger with right here on this channel.

"No Truth in the World" is a performance masterpiece. Certainly in this particular concert, you could not ask for more from a singer or from a band. This was to be the last song of the night, but even though they'd been playing and dancing non-stop for 90 minutes, the audience had to call Lucky and the band back for an encore.

Such a joyful night: July 8, 1990 at Bay Street, in Sag Harbor, NY, on Lucky's second tour of the U.S.

The clip of Lucky blowing out the candles on his cake, was shot in Philadelphia on August 1, 1991, on the eve of Lucky's 27th birthday.

Give thanks to Bay Street, to the audience, to Lucky and his great band, the Slaves and to my fantastic video crew.
