How to Make Scented Candles 🕯️

Objective: Learn to make a scented candle.

Materials: Wax, container (glass, metal, ceramic), wick (wood or cotton), wick stickers, wick holder, wick cutter or scissors, digital scale, scent oil, small glass, stirring spoon, digital thermometer, pouring pitcher, large pot, rubbing alcohol, paper towels, hot pad, cooling rack, gift box (optional).

Steps:
1. Measure your wax using a digital scale. Don't forget to zero out the container.
2. Measure your scent oil based on the amount of wax (6-10%).
3. Melt the wax in a double boiler to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. Prep the containers by cleaning with rubbing alcohol and adding the wick.
5. Place the containers on a cooling rack.
6. Remove the wax and stir in the scent.
7. Allow the wax to cool to 170 degrees Fahrenheit.
8. Carefully pour the wax into the containers.
9. Allow the candles to cure for 1 week.
10. Cut the wick to 1/4 inch length.
