About this video
Need a simple way to paint a nice brown leather effect on your Warhammer miniatures?
In this beginner-friendly Warhammer miniature painting leather tutorial, I’ll show you a beginner-friendly 3-paint recipe that works on Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, or any tabletop miniature.
We’ll start with a black primer, then use a dark brown to basecoat, next build depth with a warm brown midtone, and finish with ochre highlights. I’ll also touch on glazing to help smooth transitions for that natural leather look.
The three paints we use in this leather miniature paint recipe can be substituted with other brands and colors. We have a conversion guide in our Discord community.
