Can AI Fully Replace Programmers in 5 Years? 🤖

The controversy around AI replacing human capabilities remains high, especially after the founder of Stability AI’s recent comment in an interview that he predicts AI will have the power to replace all programmers within the next 5 years.

As much as I embrace the potential AI can bring us, I express much caution around the language we use when we talk about AI’s future. Comments like “AI will replace XYZ” can be harmful even when it is well-intended. I truly believe that AI should be used to COMPLEMENT and ENHANCE the work of programmers by automating repetitive tasks and providing valuable insights, rather than completely replacing us.
