To be fair to Ms Heard, cross examination is a difficult thing to face (especially with someone as formidable as Ms Vasquez doing the questioning). In my 27 years as a lawyer, I have seen even experienced lawyers lose focus when questioning witnesses and miss the chance to make a meal of it. Here Ms Vasquez is right on point and does not miss the opportunity to underscore Ms Heard's answer in a way that emphasises it to the jury and reminds them that not everyone can be testifying positively for Mr Depp just because he is the more famous of the two of them. The Johnny Depp Amber Heard defamation trial, certainly has showcased some excellent lawyering at times.
